Exhibits : Warsaw - 1953, 1955, 1961, 1965, Canada - 1960, Paris - 1961, Milan - 1961, Sao Paolo - 1963, Italy - 1964, Kassel - 1964, Sweden - 1965, Honolulu - 1965, Copenhagen, Oberhausen - 1966, Arnhem, New York - 1967, Munich, Warsaw - 1968, Essen, Vienna - 1970; many more. Touluse- Lautrec Award, Paris 1961 for "Niebieski ptak" poster, Grand Prix Karlove Vary 1962 for "Towarzysze broni" film poster, & 3rd place for "Goraczka w El Pao", Wiesbaden - 1964, Munich - 1965, Berlin - 1965. Also, a number of major prizes for short films at festivals in Venice, Mannheim, Brussels, Paris and Oberhausen. Lived in Paris since 1963.

Poster designed for the first release (in Germany) of the classic Andrej Tarkovsky-directed film. It is included here because of Lenica's prominence within the School of Polish Poster and because the art is so cool.
